Todays Floral Fact - Veronicastrum Sibiricum aka Red Arrows. These flowering perennials have elegant stems with whorls of pointed leaves above which are held upright facing hands of various shades of purple/blue. These plants are native to Japan and the former Soviet Union and bloom in mid-Summer. Growing to a height of up to 48 inches, these plants have been known to have medicinal properties and been used to treat liver disorders.
