Todays Good News: Thanks to the speedy response of Fourth Precinct officers last week, a man who broke into a home on the city’s Northside was quickly found and arrested. Officer Bruce Larka was driving to the scene when he heard a description of the burglar over the radio and spotted a possible suspect walking nearby on Griffin Avenue. He stopped and detained the man while Officer Daniel Raines spoke with the victims, who were in the home at the time of the crime, and gathered further information. With the assistance of Detectives Kristie Reed and James Higgins, the suspect was identified by the victims, stolen items were recovered and he was charged with burglary. Good work officers and detectives!
