Todays Good Word......THE CONTINIOUS MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST/But We Must Draw Close. He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25) It says that Christ is able to save to the uttermost — forever — since he always lives to make intercession for us. In other words, he would not be able to save us forever if he did not go on interceding for us forever. This means our salvation is as secure as Christ’s priesthood is indestructible. This is why we needed a priest so much greater than any human. Christ’s deity secures his indestructible priesthood for us. This means we should not talk about our salvation in static terms the way we often do — as if I did something once in an act of decision, and Christ did something once when he died and rose again, and that’s all there is to it. That’s not all there is to it. This very day I am being saved by the eternal intercession of Jesus in heaven. Jesus is praying for us and that is our salvation. We are saved eternally by the eternal prayers. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us (Romans 8:34) and advocacy....My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. (1 John 2:1) of Jesus in heaven as our high priest. He prays for us and his prayers are answered because he prays perfectly on the basis of his perfect sacrifice. You see my friends we must continually draw close to God in Christ, while He is interceding for us, we must draw close to God. In order for God to work in our lives so that we may become more like Jesus, we must keep leaning on Him, we must keep drawing close to Him so that He may impart whatever we need to live for Jesus. Where are you leaning to find strength? Are you struggling today needing help? Are you in need of grace in your time of need? Are you wondering, Can I make it through? By your self you will fail, but remember, He ever liveth to make intercession for you. Jesus is always alive and will always be alive, to make intercession for you. He ever liveth to make intercession. Would you draw close today?. Spend a few minutes and talk to Jesus today. Slow down and just read one scripture verse and think about it slowly and let the Holy Spirit bring it to life in your life. -mark.d https://youtube/watch?v=DXDGE_lRI0E
