Todays Inspiration....If and when someone wrongs you, how many chances will you give them before you wash your hands of them? People being people will mess up countless times in life, after all I have never met anyone who sinned only once or twice. Unless we consider Jesus Himself who never sinned at all, . There are many people who at the beginning of the year, mainly in January flood all of the gyms and fitness centers to start over by working out trying to loose weight. They come and work out for about a month and loose interest and dont go back. Jesse Jones, owner of a fitness center will terminate your membership if you sign up and dont return. Jones says , save your money and come and see me when your serious. My passion is not for another three month payment....were making people accountable to reach their goals. Well Jesus also wants us to be accountable but unlike us and Jones, He will not terminate His love for us. We are given chance after chance after chance to convert to Him and follow Him without doubt. We have to quit living for ourselves and start living for Jesus. He wants true followers, who will commit to Him completely without doubt. Remember what He told the man that wanted to bury his father before following.. He said (let the dead bury their own).The man was not serious enough to drop everything and follow..We as Christians need to be ready for radical commitment and change.... The only difference from then to now is He physically tapped His disciples on the shoulders and ask them to follow, and now He spiritually comes to us. He wont wash His hands if we dont follow today, but He will be back tomorrow and the day after and the day after that. The Lord calls us not only to status quo, but also to take that calling seriously by following Him.
