Todays Lesson On Confronting an N~ Why Its A Waste Of Time To Try And Have A Reasonable Discussion About His Behavior~ We are programmed by the psychology community and the family Nablers to try and understand why people act the way they do. We believe there is always a good reason. So when we are being abused, we try to talk it over. We want to get to the bottom of the problem. We want to know why the N said what he said or did what he did so we can resolve the problem. This is our undeserved and incorrect guilt taking over, assuming that we must have done something to cause him to hurt us, to deserve mistreatment. If only we knew what it was! Problem is, we are never going to get the REAL answer to that. WE didnt do anything. The N is just an abuser, for no good reason. Simple as that. Hes just wicked. When we ask why, do we honestly expect him to say, Because I want to dominate you? Or Because I enjoy upsetting you? Or Because I want to control you? Or Because I like causing trouble~ it turns me on? THATS why. Those are the reasons. But you will never hear an N admit it. Wed be foolish to expect truth and honestly from a habitual liar. Now we have our answer. Now we understand, even though it didnt come out of the mouth of the liar. Lets be satisfied with that, and turn to something constructive that might actually accomplish something. There is no psychology in the Bible. We are never told to try and understand why the evil do evil. It doesnt matter why. All that matters is that they are doing it. They do it because they ARE evil. We now need to take authority over the wicked, put our boundaries in place, and enforce them with consequences. Who cares Why? What difference does it make? There is NO acceptable excuse for unacceptable behavior anyway. All that matters is that it stops, one way or the other. And if it doesnt, we refuse to associate with the evil and go No Contact. Abuse stopped, mission accomplished. :-)
