Todays Prayer April 2, 2014 Good morning my dear Lord! In Jesus’ name I pray and give thanks for Your many wonderful blessings. Father, You know how I love warm, sunny days! But I also thank You for rainy days that replenish the earth and clean the atmosphere. Because of Your great wisdom and power, the world supports life. I pray for balance in the weather and I pray for balance in my life. Lord, You promised never to flood the earth again, but I pray we will remember what Scripture teaches us. For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:5-7) Lord, for those who do not understand, I pray You would reveal Yourself before it is too late. There will be a new heaven and a new earth and just as You spoke creation and the great flood, Your Word will bring about Your perfect judgment and then eternal punishment for the wicked. Let us not be deceived! You are a God of love, but You are holy! Only those who have been born again and washed by the blood of Jesus Christ will be saved! The present universe is filled with stars, comets, and asteroids. Yes, the very core of this planet earth is filled with a boiling liquid lake of fire! You designed the atomic structure of creation. You planned everything from the beginning. Thank You for Your new heavens and new earth will be without any fear of cataclysm. I don’t understand everything, but I understand this: Jesus said, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” (John 14:3-4) Yes, let it be known to those who will hear! The way is Your Son! Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) Father, please cleanse me anew today, that this day, I will be pleasing to You. Thank You so much for Your wonderful love, Your enduring mercy, and Your amazing grace! In the precious name of Jesus I pray, amen.💙
