Todays Preaching Is Programmed And Not Natural From The Word Of God/Yahweh!!! Shalom Brothers and Sisters, sadly today in many congregations around the world, the preaching and teaching of the Word of God/Yahweh is shared in the wrong way. It is not preached as we are told to do in the Word of God/Yahweh. But unfortunately: Todays Preaching Is Programmed And Not Natural From The Word Of God/Yahweh!!! The passage from the Word of God/Yahweh for today is from Mark 16:15-18 where Jesus/Yeshua said; “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”” Why do you go to the Church of God/Yahweh? What should you expect the Church of God/Yahweh to do for you? Should the regular services of the Church of God/Yahweh be primarily for reaching the lost or for reaching the saved? Let us compare the following two concepts below: The local church is primarily a: SOUL-WINNING STATION!!! The local church is primarily a: SOUL-BUILDING STATION!!! Lets read Acts 20:28, 32; “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood... Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.’ We rejoice at every soul that is saved through the preaching ministry of a Church of God/Yahweh, and we certainly do not want to minimize the importance of making the most of every opportunity to win a soul for Christ/Yeshua. But the primary purpose of the assembly is to build up the Believers in the most holy faith and to equip them for the work of the ministry, as we read in Ephesians 4:12; “To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” The local church is here primarily to: GET PEOPLE SAVED!!! Matthew 28:19-20; “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” The local church is here primarily to: GET PEOPLE TAUGHT!!! Acts 2:42; “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” If the main thrust of the assembly is to reach the lost, then evangelism will be unduly stressed and given priority and the edification and equipping of Believers will not be given its proper place. If God/Yahweh’s Word is properly taught, the unsaved that are in attendance will certainly hear the gospel, and the Believers who need to be taught will not be neglected!!! The local church is to: PREACH THE GOSPEL!!! (By gospel we mean the truth, which unsaved people need to know in order to be saved, and the good news of salvation)... 2 Timothy 4:2 reads; “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.” The local church is to: PREACH THE WORD!!! Which would include the gospel but which would not neglect ALL SCRIPTURE as we see written in 2 Timothy 3:16; “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” If a faithful pastor is preaching through the Bible, the Word of God/Yahweh, verse-by-verse, book-by-book, he is going to be constantly pointing his listeners to Christ/Yeshua and to His so-great salvation. At the same time he will be feeding the congregation the kind of Spiritual food that will nurture them and strengthen them to be good soldiers of Jesus Christ/Yeshua!!! The local church is here primarily for: EVANGELISM!!! The local church is here primarily for: TO FEED THEM!!! Let us now read from John 21:15-17; “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”” Acts 20:28; “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” And 1 Peter 5:2; “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve.” The key word here in all these Scriptures is ‘primarily.’ We are not opposed to the gospel message going forth in the regular services of the Church of God/Yahweh, and we certainly rejoice over every sinner who repents. The problem comes when evangelism becomes the main focus and the Believers do not get the Spiritual nourishment that they need to be effective servants and soul-winners for Christ/Yeshua throughout the day and coming days of the week!!! BRING THE UNSAVED TO THE GOSPEL!!! Mark 16:15 said; “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”” BRING THE GOSPEL TO THE UNSAVED!!! 2 Corinthians 5:20 says; “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” God/Yahweh does not say; “Go into all the world and invite everyone to come to church.” We are not to bring them to the gospel, but we are to bring the gospel to them... All Believers are to be gospel preachers, not just the pastor on morning or evening service. Our gospel emphasis should be every day of the week, as we go into the world seeking the lost to win. But the hours that we spend with God/Yahweh’s people should be rich times of being built up in the Word of God/Yahweh so that we can be more effective witnesses for Christ/Yeshua at work, at home or at school!!! The regular services of the Church of God/Yahweh have a ministry primarily for SINNERS!!! Ephesians 4:12 read; “To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” The regular services of the Church of God/Yahweh have a ministry primarily for the CONGREGATION!!! We read in Colossians 1:28; “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” Again the key word is ‘primarily.’ We are certainly glad if unsaved people can come into a Church of God/Yahweh and find its a place that ministers to their Spiritual needs, especially their greatest need, which is salvation from sin... But the primary purpose of the assembly is to proclaim the whole counsel of God/Yahweh so that Believers are well-equipped to go forth and do the work of the ministry, again as seen in Ephesians 4:12!!! Primary goal of the Church of God/Yahweh: THAT PEOPLE MIGHT BE SAVED!!! Salvation is the final goal again it reads in Colossians 1:28; “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” Primary goal of the Church of God/Yahweh: THAT SAVED PEOPLE MIGHT BE CHRIST/YESHUA-LIKE!!! Salvation is just the first step as seen in Ephesians 4:13-15; “Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.” Again, we are certainly not opposed to people being saved in the Church of God/Yahweh, but we are grieved when God/Yahweh’s people are undernourished, Spiritually sick, and ineffective witnesses for Christ/Yeshua. A Church of God/Yahweh that is faithfully teaching the Bible, the Word of God/Yahweh from Genesis to Revelation, will not neglect the lost that come through the doors... What happens when an unbeliever comes into a soul-building station where Believers are being edified and where God/Yahweh’s Word is being rightly taught? 1 Corinthians 14:24-25 tells us; “But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all, as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”” The Pastor should: PREACH SALVATION MESSAGES!!! John 3:16; ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The Pastor should: PREACH THE ENTIRE BIBLE FROM GENISIS TO REVELATION!!! We read in Acts 20:27; “For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.” Matthew 28:20; “And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” And 2 Timothy 3:16; “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” It is impossible to preach through the Bible systematically and not touch upon the gospel repeatedly. There is a scarlet cord that runs throughout the Scriptures. But there are also rich gems of truth that Believers need to hear and understand. John 3:16 is one of the most wonderful verses in the Bible, but a steady diet of John 3:16 type messages is not what a hungry Believer needs... If we aim the Sword only at the unsaved, then we are going to fail to meet the Spiritual needs of God/Yahweh’s flock, we read in John 21:15-17; “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”” The Pastor should give the people: INFORMATION ON HOW TO BE SAVED!!! The Pastor should give the people: INFORMATION ON HOW TO LIVE!!! How to become a Believer seen in 2 Timothy 3:17; “So that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Believers need to be well versed on how to be saved and how to have full assurance of salvation based on God/Yahweh’s Word. But salvation is only the beginning... It is but the first step of a life-long process of growing to be more like Christ/Yeshua, 2 Peter 3:18 reads; “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” And 2 Corinthians 3:18; “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” What would we think of a person who is admitted into medical school, but receives no further medical training because all the medical school cares about is getting more and more people admitted into their school? I would not want to be a patient in the hospital staffed by such people!!! The prospective doctor needs to receive the best training possible so that he might be able to treat people properly and save lives. So also the pastor’s job is to give the congregation the best possible training from the Word so that they might be able to minister effectively and represent Christ/Yeshua rightly in the world, bringing others to the Savior!!! THE PASTOR DOES THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY!!! THE CONGREGATION DOES THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY!!! Again seen written in Ephesians 4:12... In most churches today the pastor bears the great bulk of the ministry load along with perhaps a few others. The great majority are content to sit in the pews, hear a nice message and perhaps come back on the following service. The New Testament teaching was that the congregation, the Believers were to be fully equipped and well trained to go forth every day of the week and do the work of the ministry. Instead of one man or a few people trying to bear the burden, God/Yahweh’s intent was to have a whole army of Believers going forth trained and well equipped to serve the Lord at work, at school, at home, in town or in the local neighborhoods!!! THE PASTOR IS THE MINISTER!!! ALL ARE MINISTERS!!! In so many Churches of God/Yahweh the preacher or pastor is called, the minister, and sadly this title itself reflects the wrong concept. The pastor is certainly a servant of Christ/Yeshua, but he is but one of many. His special assignment is to train and equip a whole group of Believers to be faithful servants of Christ/Yeshua, and this would include being faithful heralds of the good news... If someone were to ask; “Who is the minister of this Church of God/Yahweh?” An appropriate answer would be; “There are (depending on the size of the congregation) many ministers in this Church of God/Yahweh. Which one would you like to speak to?” God/Yahweh’s people need to understand that the Savior desires every one of us to be His faithful servants!!! On the other hand, the pastor has a very special ministry. He is able to devote himself continually to the ministry of prayer and the Word of God/Yahweh (as is written in Acts 6:4; and 1 Timothy 4:15-16). The Believers under his ministry ought to be good students of the Word also, but because they hold full time jobs and are full time homemakers, etc., the time they spend in the Word is limited by such constraints. The pastor has the time and needs to make the time for intensive study of the Word so that he might be able to equip the Believers unto every good work. One of the great problems of our day is that Bible believing pastors do not study the Word as they should, and part of the reason for this is that all during the week they are running around doing many of the things that well-fed and well-taught people of the congregation ought to be doing... Why? The main reason for the pastors today doing this is for their own SELF-gain, the people look on him as being a good shepherd running around after the people in need, but unfortunately not spending his time studying the Word for the next service meeting. Because of this it is already programmed for him to perform in the pulpit by someone else doing the true work of him for him!!! THE PASTOR IS IN FULL TIME BELIEVERS SERVICE!!! 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” EVERY BELIEVER IS IN FULL TIME SERVICE!!! Colossians 3:22-25; “Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.” Every Believer needs to realize that he is in full time service whether he gets monetary benefits or not. You may be a doctor or a lawyer or a plumber or an insurance agent or a homemaker or whatever, but your chief vocation is that you are a servant of the most high God/Yahweh and you are to walk worthy of your high, holy and heavenly calling, as we read in Ephesians 4:1; “As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” Never forget what your main job really is. And if it really is your main job, do you not need to be fully equipped and fully trained for it? This is the purpose of the assembly of Believers according to God/Yahweh’s blueprint in Ephesians 4:11-16; “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” THE PASTOR IS THE PREACHER OF THE GOSPEL!!! 2 Corinthians 5:20 reads; “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” EVERY BELIEVER IS A PREACHER OF THE GOSPEL!!! Mark 16:15 says; “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”” The pastor certainly has wonderful opportunities to proclaim the good news of Christ/Yeshua, not only in the regular services of the Church of God/Yahweh, but also on other special occasions such as: funerals, weddings, etc. As the pastor faithfully preaches and teaches through the Bible he is going to repeatedly exalt the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua and point to the wonderful salvation that He alone died to provide. But there is also a gospel responsibility given to every blood-bought child of God/Yahweh. Remember, your pastor cannot readily get into the factory or the hospital or the insurance company or the school or the place of business where you work 40 hours a week or more. However God/Yahweh has placed you there to be His witness, by life and by lips, as seen in Acts 1:8; “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Also keep in mind that you don’t have to be a pastor to share the good news or to do hospital visitation or to lead a nursing home service or to conduct a neighborhood evangelistic Bible study or to teach a Bible club for children, or to go on door-to-door visitation, etc. May God/Yahweh guide each to know where and how we may most effectively serve Him!!! We read in Ephesians 4:11-12; “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” The resurrected Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua gave certain gifted men to His church of God/Yahweh, including pastor, teachers, etc, in Ephesians 4:11. The following may help you understand what Ephesians 4:12 is really saying: WHY WERE THESE GIFTED MEN GIVEN TO THE CHURCH OF GOD/YAHWEH? FOR the purpose of perfecting, equipping and training the congregation!!! FOR the work of the ministry... SERVING CHRIST/YESHUA EVERY DAY!!! FOR the edifying of the body of Christ/Yeshua... BUILDING UP FELLOW BELIEVERS!!! The Pastor or teacher is to equip and train the congregation through the whole counsel of God/Yahweh from Genesis to Revelation, so that the congregation will go forth throughout their life serving Christ/Yeshua, making known His gospel and building up fellow Believers and non-believers!!! THE PURPOSE FOR THE ASSEMBLING OF THE CONGREGATION!!! Again we need to remember what is written in Ephesians 4:11-12; “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” The congregation assemble together in order to be equipped or perfected for the work of the ministry. This is the way teaching of the Word of God/Yahweh should be done, but it is rarely taking place in the Churches of God/Yahweh today... God/Yahweh’s purpose is to train and equip His people by way of His gifted men as pastor or teachers etc. When Believers are well fed and well taught in the whole counsel of God/Yahweh, then the body, the assembly will be healthy, and the LIFE of Christ/Yeshua will be manifested, and then God/Yahweh will be Glorified!!! We certainly thank God/Yahweh for every sinner who attends an assembly of Believers, hears the gospel message and receives Christ/Yeshua as his personal Savior. The main purpose of the assembly, however, is for the congregation, and not for sinners. The assembly, according to God/Yahweh’s pattern, is to be primarily an edification center as seen in 1 Corinthians 14:26; “What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.” Not an evangelistic center; or a soul-building station as we saw written in Acts 20:28,32; “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood... Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” Not a soul-winning station... Of course, if the whole counsel of God/Yahweh is preached and if the Bible is faithfully taught then the cross of Christ/Yeshua, the grace of God/Yahweh, justification and God/Yahweh’s so-great salvation would be themes heard repeatedly. How can you preach the Word and not preach the gospel? On the other hand, it is possible to preach the gospel in such a way that fails to provide proper nourishment for the saints. Believers need more than a steady diet of John 3:16 messages!!! Interestingly enough, the cults do not establish evangelistic centers. Rather they establish edification centers to train their people to go out and do the work of the ministry. The people are immersed in a program of total indoctrination. The average Jehovah’s Witness, for example, is ready always to give an answer to every man that asks him a reason of the false hope that is within him... The average Bible Believer is horribly ignorant of God/Yahweh’s truth. The devil knows which system really works. The cults do not lack for converts... What do unbelievers notice as they come into Churches of God/Yahweh today? Do they see a healthy organism? Do they see well-fed members? Do they see Christ/Yeshua in you? Are they convicted by the awesome Presence and Person of God/Yahweh as read in 1 Corinthians 14:24-25? The greatest need today is for a lost world to see the Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua manifesting Himself in and through a healthy assembly of Believers. The world needs to see Christ/Yeshua-like Believers who understand and practice God/Yahweh’s Word. When God/Yahweh’s people are fully equipped for the work of the ministry as seen in Ephesians 4:11-16, they certainly will not be lax in gospel outreach, nor allow mission services to suffer... When a Church of God/Yahweh makes its priority edification, then true evangelism cannot help but be enhanced, as is well illustrated in 1 Corinthians 14:24-25... The Church of God/Yahweh is for the Glory of God/Yahweh and not the glory of man or the pastor... On earth each congregation is to function as a body that evidences the power and indwelling of the life of God/Yahweh. Each one is to be seen as a manifestation of Christ/Yeshua in its teaching, living the truth as well as preaching it... The bulk of instruction and exhortations in Acts and the Epistles has to do with holiness and honorable interpersonal relationships in the Church of God/Yahweh, read in 1 Corinthians 11:27; “So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.” Each congregation is to see itself as a body, organism, and not merely as an organization.... Unless this is understood and made paramount in the thinking of leaders and members, the Church of God/Yahweh will fail as a witness. But when this truth is embraced by faith unto edification, the community round about will see a witness. The unsaved who attend its services will come under the conviction of sin of what is written in 1 Corinthians 14:25, and the members will be fed, empowered, and equipped to properly represent Jesus Christ/Yeshua in their daily pursuits, as read in 2 Corinthians 3:3; “You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” And Philippians 2:15; ‘So that you may become blameless and pure, “Children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” The redeemed, together as the Lord’s assembly constitute an organism to be treasured. Each Believer should be helped to see what the assembly means to Christ/Yeshua and should become most appreciative of the precious privilege of being part of the local testimony. But unfortunately all that we have covered in the message today is not what is being done in the Churches of God/Yahweh today around the world. If you look around you will see that everything about a service to God/Yahweh in His House today: Is Programmed before hand, how it should be done, how it should be said and how it should be presented!!! This is not natural teaching from the Word of God/Yahweh... Did Jesus/Yeshua, sit with His disciples and plan the next speech he was going to give to the people gathered around to hear Him? Did He organize a big screen to show a video of what He was teaching? Did He have a band come and play loud rock music to encourage the young ones to come listen and dance? No!!! I think you will find that everything was done through the Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh; the exact same thing should be done today, but is far from it!!! All the Television Preachers today give false teaching from their screen shots as everything is planned, pre-programmed and acted before hand... Nothing is done on the spot from the Spirit/Ruach of God/Yahweh. They say that those running around screaming and shouting, falling on the floor, shaking and supposed to be speaking in tongues... Comes from the Spirit/Ruach of God/Yahweh!!! I dont think so... And if you believe this then you also are programmed the same as many congregations today are also, who are not receiving the true teaching from the Word of God/Yahweh... Who are not being taught properly what the Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh is all about and what its true purpose is about!!! Show me a Scripture in the Word of God/Yahweh where the Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh did this to a person when Jesus/Yeshua touched them to heal them through the Spirit/Ruach? My friends brothers and sisters beware of the false teachers of today in many congregations around the world who are willing to program you but not teach you the Word of God/Yahweh!!! Todays Preaching Is Programmed And Not Natural From The Word Of God/Yahweh!!!
