Todays Q&A with TLA on PennLive. The concept of rebuilding the Walnut Street Bridge is one of my first conceptual Harrisburg projects I had, about 15 years ago. I sketched out a whole thing where there would be a national contest supported by sponsors to Rebuild the Bridge...Connecting the Past & the Present. The idea was to spark in a new, innovative bridge. Not just replace it as was but see what young designers would come up with to integrate the old and the new.
