Todays Sermon by Bishop E.C. Miles Sr. titled: If you dont see nothing, still expect something -- I Kings 18:41-45 Excerpts: Elijah teaches us how we should express our faith in advance. He asks for rain and tells the servant to go to the top and look for it. The servant returns and says, I dont see nothing. Heres where most folks miss their blessings. They dont see it so they stop believing it because it didnt happen the first time. Elijah basically tells him, You only looked once. Look six more times because I asked God for it so it has to come to pass. Some of you are on your sixth try and are about to give up. God says dont give up. Ask again! So what, if he said no the first time! So what, if the banker said no the first time. So what, if the car dealership said no the first time. So what, if the loan officer said no the first time. So what, if you didnt get the raise the first time. Youre not really asking them anyways, youre asking God. If you dont see nothing, still expect something.
