Todays Shoulder Session - Starting by really hitting my front Delts with Exercise 1&2 as its one of my weak points so gets the attention and energy first. 1, Underhand Dumbell Front Raise x5 sets. Squeeze the dumbells together so they touch at the top of the rep - this increases tension in the front delt. 2, overhand barbell front raise x4 sets. 2 second holds at the top of each rep and lower weight slowly - no swinging. 3, Smith Shoulder press x6 sets. 1x warm up 25x reps, sets 2,3,4 progressively heavier, each set to failure. Sets 5,6 dead stop reps, lower weight onto stoppers and then fire the bar back 9/10 of the way - do not lock out. 4, inclined bench rear delts x4 double drop sets. 5, Dumbell Shrugs x4 sets. - Video 1 shows exercises 1-3. Video 2 shows 4-5. Video 2 to follow. *Slight shoulder problem has meant Ive laid off side lateral raises for a while if anyone wonders why they are not included.
