Todays Smoothie Recipe...Yielded me 6 cups, cut ingredients in half for 3 cups. Must be used within 24 hours. 2 cups at breakfeast and one as a snack...eat other meals as usual. Keep in Mason jars and grab one to go in your lunch bag. 1 cup liquid of your choice (water, almond milk, coconut milk, yogurt etc.) 1 orange peeled. 2 small kiwis 1 small avocado 1/2 of a lime 1/4 cup frozen cranberries, (optional; I just happened to have some) 1/2 cup frozen pineapple 1/2 cup frozen banana 2 cups of spinach 3 sprigs of kale 3 sprigs of Chicory lettuce type thing. 1/2 inch of peeled ginger 1/4 of a bell pepper any color 1/3 of a cucumber a piece of cabbage about 2 inches by 2 inches big. a few sprigs of cilantro 7-8 mint leaves. 1 tsp. of ground flax or chia seeds or a combination of both. Put almond milk or other liquid and spinach, kale in blender and blend until smooth, then add other ingredients and blend until all smooth. I drink 2 cups the morning I make it, have one as a snack, then I drink the rest the following morning so that its gone within 24 hours. If its too thick just add a little more liquid.
