Born in 1974 in Baltimore, MD, Mr. Brown has seen the despair of inner city urban blight from a firsthand and personal perspective. Having an inexorable belief in the possibility of social and civic reform, Mr. Brown has tried to affect much needed change by way of his business ventures and philanthropy. Being a devout man of faith, Mr. Brown is the former managing editor of Sunday Morning News (New York). Believing in a more positive approach to the news, Mr. Brown has repeatedly said, “Growing up in inner city Baltimore, Maryland, I have seen too much crime, violence, and salaciousness shown on the nightly newscasts and featured in the various print media publications for far too long, and I want to offer people a more positive alternative for news and information.” Mr Brown has also said, “I want entire families and households, from seniors to elementary school children to enjoy my news publications.”
