Todays Zappa A Day© goes out to two finger pickers Max Freeman (who aged by one year yesterday like an immature cheese,) & Rio Dino Laurenti who I enjoyed jammin n playing Bach and Tangos with last night (YOWSER!) oh and then much later we emerged from Freemans abode into a nice storm, beneath swollen skies.. We walked back thru sideways & perpendicular rain piss + gail force winds, at a crawl through worcesters finest suburban stab alleys! Ahum.. This is a Zappa cover (original below,) but a fantastic orchestral arrangement honed down to solo guitar, it splendidly showcases Zappas sensitive choice of inversions and chord voicing, all are quite intact here! I tried to learn it once and got as far as the middle bit.. Really, really nice.. Max! (Dunno what the hell happened to my head last night: as its a half soaked iregular shape today, but great night it was all the same! Cheers fellow!)
