Todays answer to the Steve Pearce challenge is pure disco. Formed by Nile Rogers (the best rhythm player who ever lived) and Bernard Edwards (brilliant bass player) out of the Big Apple Band, Chic had a load of hits. This was written after the two of them were turned away from Studio 54. This single sold SEVEN MILLION copies, not downloads, but pressed pieces of vinyl. Bernard Edwards, sadly, passed away, but Nile Rogers is still doing it. By the way, Phil Manzanera, dont know if you knew, Rogers was hugely influenced by Roxy Music. https://youtube/watch?v=h1qQ1SKNlgY
