Todays away game for the Kestrels saw them sweep into a 2goal lead without playing any decent football,by half time they had conceded 2 goals from dead ball situations,halftime team talk was between the players who got the hairdryer out,management just let them get on with it,resulting in a completely different attitude to the second half from the first,so much so they ended up winning the game 9-2,i do hate to single out players but i think i can be excused this time my grandson scored 5 of the goals too share the managers man of the match with Brenden who in defence played his best game since he joined the club,my own view was another young player i thought had a good game was Alex,so he got the supporters man of the match,even though the team did well via the result they achieved,there is still a lot more work to be done and then we will be a real top team and deservedly so,we have still got players missing which can only improve the team,but they might have a nice problem getting back into the side jf the players who are in the team keep showing/making the improvements that they are doing now,to the team well done but dont sit on your laurels keep playing for each other THE KESTRELS,
