OSHA cited the plant for 10 either serious or willful violations; it also earned membership in OSHA’s Severe Violator Enforcement Program because of the inspection. This is obviously troubling; though I hope that business and industry hold itself to high safety standards, the reality is that more inspectors are needed to keep up and hold business and industry accountable for worker safety.
