Todays deadlift session- 240kg (5 and a half plates) for a single. This year my goal is to hit 300kg. I dont specifically train to be a power lifter, however I love to incorporate this style of training into my regime, it gives great density to your muscles, ensures a solid foundation to your physique and its just enjoyable to lift some heavy ass weight! In fact I am lifting these poundages under conditions not conducive to being strong. I still only average 2,800-3,000 cal per day and am maintaining 7% body fat. This challenge in itself is part of why I like it so much ;)
