Todays event was a fly-by-the-seat-of-your pants kind of thing. But, so happy that I answered the email from Starbucks. We made a decent amount in donations for the two hours. Then as I was packing up, the store and district managers came over to talk to me. The district manager is married to the northern Houston district manager and we will be invited out to set up a booth and fundraise at new stores in the future. They offered us spots at future events at the location from today AND WANT us to come out and hold adoption events. (They were bummed that there were no puppies involved today). THEN, handed me what I thought were cookies (pretty exciting), but better, it was their PROFITS from the event today! Great connections made for Reggies Friends today!
