Todays featured Festival at The Farm winery is Caduceus Cellars. Caduceus Cellars is a small production, family owned & operated winery. The vision of the Caduceus wine label has been born out of the passion and vision of owner and winemaker, Maynard James Keenan. Keenan has called Arizona home since 1995, and here is where his wine adventure started! One day while sipping some fine wine on his patio in the hills of Jerome, Arizona, he realized that the climate in the area was similar to the climates where some of his favorite wines were produced. Why not grow a vineyard here? Keenan, found out from a distant relative that wine making is in his blood. His great grandfather, “Spirito” Marzo, had vineyards and made wine in Venaus, Italy, just North of Turino in Piemonte. Keenan’s tastes in wine reflect this history.
