Many know them from their years of coordinating the Tuesday Night Social Club, now known as Red Hot and Happening. Others know them from their pivotal role in bringing Marilyn to Palm Springs. What many people don’t know is how dedicated they are to giving their time and talent in many ways for non-profits across the valley including probono counsel on social media, website, events promotion etc. You cannot find more dedicated giving individuals who go far beyond their business relationship to make things work for everyone involved. Desert AIDS Project knows Mark & Brian for the numerous ways they impact the agency, the people it serves, the people it needs to reach and its bottom line. They help recruit Dining Out For Life restaurants. They secure dozens of silent auction and raffle prizes for various D.A.P. events. They work with their clients to raise funds for D.A.P. They raise thousands of dollars each year for the Desert AIDS Walk. For several years, they were 2 of the 3 individuals behind the annual event, Sparkle. And, most recently, they brought Desert AIDS Project a unique concept for a new event – to honor every day people from the community for their heroic efforts on behalf of those living with HIV/AIDS. Little did they know when they presented it, Desert AIDS Project would not only love the idea but see them as fitting to receive one of the inaugural awards.
