Todays first random rant because this is one of the things that upsets me the very most. ....and this is something I hear/see almost as much with liberals as I do with conservatives. Since they evidently no longer teach psychology in college, I will... Consider me a barefoot shrink... ...and look that up...the barefoot part, in regard to a skill, if you dont know what it means. (It is in Wiki under the disambiguation definition of the word..) Psychology 101, also called, having a brain AND a heart: I hear people, including liberal people, when talking about someone doing something horrid or just bad...for that matter, say this: Two people discussing someone elses bad behavior: Knowledgeable person: They have a mental illness. Mean and mob mentality person of either party: Well, they cant use their mental illness as an excuse for THAT. (Cover your ears.) PEOPLE, THE BEHAVIOR IS THE MENTAL ILLNESS. As a shrink I know once said, with exasperation, Mental illness comes with a behavior. People, once more, the behavior IS the mental illness. That is how mental illness presents. That is how it looks. It is not an excuse. It is the reason. THAT is why they call it a MENTAL illness, not broken toe or hemorrhoids. They would not have done what they did, if they didnt have this mental illness. Ahhhhhhhh...people today frustrate me so...
