They can also remove certain features of a landscape to enhance others and isolate subtle changes with mathematical precision. 3.Simper - Smile in an affectedly coquettish, coy, or ingratiating manner. E.g. Hes usually got a piece of arm candy shooting him affectionate looks and simpering about how gorgeous he is. 4.Pangloss - A person who is optimistic regardless of the circumstances. E.g. By the novels end Pawkie, like a Scottish Pangloss, is announcing that reform is in the air and that the world is becoming better and better. 5.Contention - Heated disagreement. E.g.
