Todays friend a day till Christmas post brings us Cam Scadden. cam was my roommate in college freshman year and sophomore year. He became the older brother I never had. We both played football and had more fun than two guys probably should while trying to graduate. He came from a very small town called Sherman. He graduated with 67 people. Ya that small. He is really the best guy around. I became close with his parents who were both more grandparent age than parent age. His dad had a gun collection which included a cannon and many machine guns. During thunderstorms he would fire off the cannon in an effort to not get busted by the local po po. Cam introduced me to Hank Williams junior and jimmy buffet and I introduced him to the beastie boys. The memories are endless and so is how much he means to me. Hes not on Facebook so he probably wont see this. But he knows I love all 63 280lbs of his country ass. On this day I thank my brother from another mother Cam. Thanks for always being there my friend.
