Todays gospel (John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30) reminds us that it is not - TopicsExpress

Todays gospel (John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30) reminds us that it is not only during Holy Week that we Christians mark Jesus passion and threats to his existence: ... some people were trying to kill him. As James E. Adams reflects in livingwithchrist.us: Jesus lived his entire time in public ministry...under constant threat of violent acts of enemies. He certainly would have been justified in arming himself and his followers...; instead, he preached a gospel of love and forgiveness of enemies. Do I look to Jesus to model for me how I should best deal with threats of violence from others?
