TEXT:“If the son of therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36) Every youth seeks freedom in one way or the other—freedom for making decisions on the choice of career, the friends you keep, in relationship and other facets of life. While some, because they want financial freedom, go into dubious acts of stealing, joining bad gangs, occult practices and other vices. The greatest bondage that any man, young boys and girls could find themselves is the bondage of sin. The story of the prodigal son in the Bible shows that true freedom comes from God through the blood of His dear son Jesus Christ. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, there is no way you would be free. The question today is: Are you free from the bondage of sin? If you are not yet free, Jesus Christ the Saviour is right beside you now to set you free. Confess your sins to Him in prayer, and He will totally liberate you and give you true freedom.
