Todays hospital observation.... A young girl has dished out breakfast and come in two separate occasions with the tea trolley. Each time she came in her face was as miserable as sin and after trying to force a smile out of her, the only thing I could come up with was she was an arrogant little shit and just plain rude. Until..... I overheard her having a conversation saying that her mother was in having open heart surgery today and that she was unable to get time off work to be by her side. She said she was on pins waiting to hear any news. I felt awful for judging why she looked liked she had the world on her shoulders, when little did I know that she actually did. Lesson learnt - dont judge someone on face value because we have no idea of what they have gone or going through.
