Todays image is an Infrared Capture from the Vicksburg National Military Cemetery from last spring. One of my goals for 2014 is to find a willing model to don a white or black dress (maybe both) at some selected locations for some fine art Infrared photographs. Ive never been successful capturing Infrared portraits or scenes with people as a main element. Using the Hoya R72 filters, very, very long exposures that were required and everyone I shot, no matter how hard they tried, would move ever so slightly during the exposure. With the IR converted Nikon D100, that problem no longer exists, so Im ready to give it a try again. I cant guarantee what the final results will be like, but I can guarantee that they will be different from anything else.
