Todays implicit memory: For reasons completely unknown to me, Neil Sedakas Bad Blood became the only track in my brains playlist this morning and it played on endless repeat the whole muggy ride in (sheesh: it almost felt like a swim in). I dont think Ive heard this song since we drove from Austin to Bowling Green, Ky., in 1975, and this (and B.J. Thomas) seemed to be the only song that the AM radio picked up and piped into the single speaker mounted atop the dashboard of the Chevy station wagon in which we traveled. I dont recall particularly liking the song then (am pretty sure my mom already had me sold on all things Motown by the time I was 5), and Im quite sure that today I find the song one of those pop curiosities at which its hard not to laugh, but because I cant seem to delete it from the hi-fi between my ears Im going to share this little slice of cheesy torture. https://youtube/watch?v=G9zMo-BPADU
