Todays topic in Computer Tech is Risky Online Relationships. The vocabulary is: Online Predator, Stereotype, Manipulate, Risky, and Grooming. Why do I feel like there are some grown folks that could use this lesson as well. We also discussed the age of consent in Illinois and statutory rape. Of course the students brought up the many cases in the news lately of the inappropriate teacher/student relationships and I just had to break it all the way down for them. Anyway, 1st and 2nd period were very mature in our conversation. Hopefully 6th period will go well and Im gonna just pray for 8th period.
