Todays paw-trait is mum and son Dusty and Tumble. Dusty was - TopicsExpress

Todays paw-trait is mum and son Dusty and Tumble. Dusty was neutered yesterday and 10 week old tumble lives up to his name. He has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome) and those who know my boys Tipple and Topple, will know that, despite this condition they are happy and thriving for nearly 5 years now. Having a kitty with special needs is actually no more of a commitment than any other cat but there are considerations which must be taken into account if you are thinking of adopting a wobbly cat. They must be indoor cats as they are not safe to venture on the roads. You must identify hazards such as open fires and make it impossible for a wobbly cat to fall into danger. Stairs are generally not a problem however they should be carpeted so they can grip, which can cause pulled threads. Over the last few years we have homed several cats with cerebellar hypoplasia and they have all been adopted into loving and safe environments and all lead very happy lives. Tumble is currently with his mum and another sibling who he loves to play with constantly. If you would be interested in adopting Dusty or Tumble..... or even both, please contact the rescue on 07942822509.
