Cold weather, low temperatures, heavy rains, and hail and thunderstorms prevail on Wednesday as a low pressure accompanied by a cold front continues to affect the East Mediterranean countries, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department. Weather remains generally cloudy, dusty and chilly, while snowfall is expected in areas at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level during the day and at 500 meters at the night. Temperatures drop further on Thursday, with rainfall and thunderstorms expected on different areas. Snowfall is likely on areas at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. Same weather conditions are expected for Friday and Saturday, yet with a further decline in temperatures. Temperatures are likely to rise on Sunday despite of the relatively low temperatures and the potential of heavy rains and snowfall on high areas.
