Todays post will be dedicated to my daughter Arianna Milagros Rodriguez, all the contestants and participants of the 2014 Junior Miss Puerto Rico Pageant, the Jersey City Puerto Rican Heritage Festival and Parade Inc and this years President Mr. Luis Lebron. The pageant that they were able to put together was beautiful, entertaining, educational and fun. My daughter had an incredible experience and one that shell not soon forget. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my mom, Griselda Rodriguez Malave, sister Elizabeth Rodriguez and younger brother Alex Reyes for their unwavering help and support throughout the event. My daughters crowning was also, in no small part, due to the overwhelming support shown by our friends and family. We thank you all sincerely. So many people came together to create such a great event that its only right they be congratulated and announced so before the pictures, wed like to address the following names for their contribution to a amazing pageant. We thank Pageant Queen, Alexis Sierra for announcing the pledge of allegiance. We thank former pageant winner, Armani Silvia, for her rendition of the Star Spangled banner. We thank singer and songwriter, Nai Medina for her powerful rendition of La Borinquena. We thank our master of ceremony, Sharlene Rodriguez Otero for leading us through the show and of course, we thank our President, Mr. Luis Lebron for bringing together all of the elements that made the pageant a success. We would also like to thank the esteemed judges Ms. Janet Chevres, Ms. Mercedes Cabrera and Ms. Rosanna Wright. We thank Ms. Marquez for her dedication to the girls and for her expertise in training and teaching. Last but certainly not least, we thank all the beautiful, smart, dedicated and disciplined young girls who showed us that our future looks bright. We honor and thank, Little Miss PR pageant Reina Alexis Sierra and her family. We honor and thank LMPR Jazzlyn Donovan and her family. We honor and thank LMPR Alyssa Velasquez and her family. We honor and thank LMPR Navaya Halloway and her family We honor and thank LMPR Jaylenne Nieves and her family. We honor and thank Junior Miss PR pageant Reina Ariel Rivera and her family. We honor and thank JMPR Destiny Acosta and her family. We honor and thank Miss Puerto Rico pageant Reina Nicole Tejera and her family. Jaritza Cruz & family along with Margarita Landron Diaz & family, were instrumental in bringing everything together and I love and respect these women wholeheartedly. So many others to thank and admire. From my family to yours, thank you again and QUE VIVA PUERTO RICO!, WEPA! See you all at the parade on Sunday, August 17th.
