Todays rebel Post. Today as we begin Easter weekend take pause in what this weekend of the year really means. I know we all have fond memories of egg hunts, big meals at grandmas house, and fellowshipping with family and friends. As Gail said in her post yesterday, what it is really about is Jesus conquering death. With his resurrection we as Christians know that we are assured of life after we leave this world. This is promised to all of us who believe. I take so much comfort in knowing this. Knowing that we will see our family and friends who have gone on before us and that when we do it will be for eternity. Although Im not a person who goes hunting, I cant wait to go with my dad again some day. I know that I am going to get to see Park run out on that football field again to play the seasons he missed. I know this because I serve a good God. I have no doubt in my mind that the things we miss here on this earth, we will experience in heaven. We will rejoice in knowing that we are with our loved ones and that we will give ALL the glory to God. Make this a weekend to prepare yourselves spiritually. We love you guys and pray that this will be a special weekend for all of you. PS#75 Another short Easter video from last year. This one has Park Stevens watching over his little buddy. The garage was damp from all of the rain we had received and little man took a spill. Park was there for the rescue.
