Todays scripture is Psalm 100:3. This popped in my head from the time i woke up this morning. So lets break this down real fast, it says Know ye that the Lord He is God. Now the word know, means to be certain, to have complete and clear idea of something. to completely KNOW that he is God takes on a whole new meaning if you are physically ill, or mentally ill. It challenges you to fully place all trust in him. The next part of this verse is: it is he that made us, and not we ourselves; I think its safe to say that we should be comforted to know that we didnt make ourselves, we would of messed up something crazy. He knows us, before we were in the womb. He gave us every little quirk, freckle, eye color and even gave us the rhythm of our heart beat, even though it may not be in rhythm all the time. He holds every aspect of our lives, whether or not we realize it. the next part of this verse is: we are HIS people, and the sheep of HIS pasture. The word HIS= belonging or relating to. This word to me is screaming that God completely wants and takes total ownership of us, not a portion or some of us, he wants all of us, every part of us. We are HIS sheep of HIS pasture. He is where we can graze on the food in which he gives us. In him we are able to sustain life, love, and true and pure happiness. its on his pasture where we are able to flourish . the word flourish means to grow:be healthy. So i see a little pattern here going on. 1st we see the word know:or completely trust, 2nd He made us, or we should trust in him and all he can do. 3rd trust that he will feed you, all that you need, not what you want. in his tin=ming and in his Glory. SO KEEP FAITH CLOSE!!!
