Todays tournament was a wet one as rain fell almost the entire time and with a couple rain delays , where the rain became heavy at times. But still ome great shots and a great time. Lefty drew to an early lead by 2 but after a misplayed shot found the water on 8 and that left the door open for terest of the field to gain back on his lead and Deadeye pared the ninth to tie up the match. Tiger was having troubles with his grips that didnt allow him to comfortably come thr the ball so it was down to Deadeye and Lefty on the back nine. Lefty went par bogie and Deadeye went boogie par to keep it tied thru 11 but 12 Lefty put his chip tight and gained a 2 stroke lead. Deadeye gained one back on 5 but couldnt catch Lefty from there and Lefty goes n to win the CCGA Independance Weekend Tournament.
