Todays training: Front squats, deadlifts, core work, and calves. Getting back into squatting and deadlifting after months of taking off/taking it extremely light due to a lower back injury. Both lifts felt great today though! Yes, the more weight you use over time the bigger and stronger you will get, but safety and longevity of training is FAR more important than the amount of weight you lift, especially when you are injured/suffered a previous injury! This is why it is more important to lift with weights that you can use safe form on than using weights that you can barely handle just for the sake of lifting more! Learn safe and effective lifting technique first, then focus on progressively overloading the weight.
