Todays visit to the oncologist was the most encouraging one yet! When he first walked through the door he declared that I was an A+++ patient! (Ive never been a straight A student at any level of education, so this was indeed exciting news...lol!) Then after answering questions about our upcoming trip to OSU later this month, he stated that my numbers were down yet again: from 3200 originally, 2700 a few weeks later, 1872 a month ago and now today 1383! It was indeed uplifting...in fact, Mary got so excited that she took a picture of the doctor and I standing together with thumbs up! I am so very thankful to all of you for all the encouragement, expressions of support, and especially the prayers. Ultimately I thank God who has guided and blessed us every step of the way, and Whos grace never ceases to amaze me! In this season of being thankful all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you! 2 weeks remain in phase #1, and if its a prelude of things to come, we trust and pray the 2nd more intensive treatment phase will be just as successful! Though I walk in the midst of trouble you preserve my life...The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your love O Lord endures forever! (Psalm 138:7-8)
