Todays workout ROUND 5!! / WEEK A / DAY 2 Workout 50... Bench and Back Day! I pushed the endurance factor a little today. Ive been running the more concentrated sessions to aid in recovery but today I had a lot of work to get through and I wasnt going to do a split session so it was time for another endurance session. We know I started with some Hip Abduction and Adduction ;) Still working the alternating sets. But feeling a lot stronger! Then on to the Pec Deck! Rack Drop from 64Kg.. Thats got the chest warmed up, now lets get the back warm... After some heavy squats yesterday and the chins as a super set, a great way to prime the back up today was with the Lat Raise Machine... For those that havent seen one, you kind of sit in and flap your arms somewhat like in the chicken dance... with weights to make it hard :) I did a Rack Drop from 43Kg. Caught myself in the mirror a few times. Looks like Im preparing to be able to fly... I have been feeling pretty super lately :) Once the Chest and Back were primed up it was time to get to work! SUPERSET: Chest Flye: @36Kg x 10 @32Kg x 10 @27Kg x 10 @27Kg x 10 Incline Bench: @50Kg x 10 with FAT GRIPZ @60Kg x 10 with FAT GRIPZ @60Kg x 10 @50Kg x 10 As you can see, I was training with a new toy today thanks to the Mad Scientist! FAT GRIPZ for a phat grip!! The first thing I noticed is that I knocked about 30Kg off my first lift. I noticed a big difference in transition zones and sticking points and then I noticed the extra feeling of power in the last 2 sets, without the gripz. Definitely a fun tool to help boost my results!! Alright! Chest is done and so am I!! Tough luck eh? Got some Back work to do now!! SUPERSET: Hyper Extensions: @25Kg x 10 x 15 x 15 Cable Lat / Delt Raises (Straight Arm): @18Kg x 25 each x 20 each x 20 each SUPERSET: Chins: Strict: Body Weight Only: x 10 x 6 x 8 Lat Pull Down (Plate Machine): @50Kg each x 10 @60Kg each x 10 @50Kg each x 12 Thatll do it for today ;) A proud effort! 10 Sessions to go! :)
