Todays workout included dead lifts. Ive been doing dead lifts for months, and began almost a year ago only being able to dead lift 50lbs. My max is now 150lbs which is 30lbs more than my bodyweight (Im dead lifting 125 lbs in the video). Why do dead lifts? Dead lifts are a compound movement that utilizes nearly every major muscle in your body. Dead lifts train the core, hamstrings, glutes, forearms, spinal erectors, lower back, middle and upper traps and calves. The also work the biceps, quads and lats to a lesser extent. That is in one simple movement. Form is super important. Remember to always keep your back straight, hold the bar against your body, and keep your head facing forward. Think about adding dead lifts to your next leg day. #fitmom #trainlikeagirl
