Vision of Hope: D enviable kingdom of David had fallen, it is almost vanishing n has lost all its glory n dignity, bt d Lord showd Isaiah dat a shoot shall spring 1ce agn frm ds. Fallen stump of Jesse, Jesus is dat shoot whol bring bak d glory of David n upon him, d Holy Spirit shal rest. (Prayer: May hope spring up 4 us agn, may dry bones of our lives reciev flesh (Ez 37). 1ce we av life thers hop 4 us (Job 14:7), God is not thru wif us yet n its not ova until we win. 2. It is a vision of restoratn... Lion wif lamb @ peace etc, brings our mind bak to d garden of Eden b4 d fall, when God mixed wif man, wher ther was no hostility, hatred, anger n dis-unity, wen there was harmony in nature, evn btw man n animals n among animals demselves. Wen d Messiah comes, hel restore dis peace n harmony among us, break down walls of hostility seperatin ppl (Eph 2:14ff). And d earth wil b filled wit d knowledg of God Lessons: Dear frds, if we open our hrts to d Lord, if we surrender ourselves to him lik d dsciples, these visions wil b fulfilled in us. Gods glory wil spring up in us agn no matter our wretchedness. Col 1:27 sayz Christ in me d hope of Glory. Example is St Francis Xavier, an aristocrat n academician who opend his hrt to Jesus n became a zealous missionary to india, Japan n China n in d long run a St. 2ndly, if we alow Christ to reign in our lives, our hrt wil becom a paradise re-gaind, our hrts wil kno peace, luv, joy n harmony within n with odas.
