Today’s National Day of Prayer service has been moved inside because of the threat of rain. The 12:20 p.m. event will take place in City Council Chambers, third floor of City Hall, 112 N. Goldsboro St. LaVon Phillips, senior pastor at Farmington Heights Church of God, will be the main speaker while the Rev. Dr. Michael Bell, pastor of St. John AME Zion Church, will lead a prayer. Students from Beddingfield High School will provide music during the event.
