Today’s News of the Weird: Dateline: Blackfoot, Idaho! The Idaho State Journal reports they had Blackfoot Pride days recently and part of the celebration was to have a plane fly over the crowd and drop 3 thousand ping pong balls. Most of the ping pong balls would be exchanged for candy, but some were worth gift certificates up to 100 dollars! But this year they had a new pilot who missed the crowd entirely dropped them all on a nearby interstate freeway! The Blackfoot Police Chief said no charges are planned, but police plan to work with organizers next year.
