Today’s P & W thought: Jehovah Jireh ... Lord Our Provider My dear friend … our Hope is in Jesus Christ! He is our Rock, our Strength, our Redeemer, our Savior. Jesus teaches us total dependence upon God as opposed to humanitys self-sufficiency. All that we have ultimately comes from Gods hand. Whether we have much or little, we must remember that God provides for our needs. We need to trust in the Lord for every aspect of our life. Matthew 6:25-26 Therefore, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? When you look to the birds and see how they are dependent upon Gods daily provision, because they cannot grow or prepare food for themselves, but God makes sure that the natural order of His creation supplies food for them, how much more will He care and provide for His children who trust in Him. Lord, the path you have for me may not be easy; but I know you are with me and will meet my needs according to your plan for my life. I will trust in you and your sovereign will for my life.
