Today’s Starting Point scripture says, “If you believe, you will receive.” So many Christians focus in on the “receive” part of that verse. But the “receive” is conditional on the “believe.” The focal point of this verse must be “Believe.” So, the question: Do you believe? You can have knowledge of Christ. You can feel something emotional related to Christ. You can practice activity and actions which appear to be consistent with belief in Christ and still miss it. Believe is a connection with Christ, a relationship with Jesus in which you say. “I am yours, I will follow you anywhere at any cost under any circumstance.
