Today’s Thought- DWELT IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AND BE VIGILANT SO THAT HE DWELT IN ALWAYS. Almighty God had created the world and finally He created man in His own image. He made man the master of all the things He had created. He had given him all the freedom with some conditions. But from the day one when God created man in his own image and given the honor just below God, a group of Angels disagree with it and started to fight with God. From the day one this fight is going on with the greatest creation of God the man kind.All the universe the stars, sun, moon, planet, nature, animal, birds, living things in sea all are under his control and obey His commandments. Whereas human being who are made in His own image, due to the free given freedom, he astray away from God and allows Evil to dominate over him. He never thought the loving God never like any of the mankind to be perished but to have the everlasting life. Therefore, He loved the man and had given His only begotten son as a ransom to redeem the mankind from the bondage of Satan. To fight against the Evil and all his attractions the weapon to wore by us is the Lent. His attacks on human can be in following ways - 1. Satan incites our fleshly desires within us through the unbelieving world around us. 2. Satan attempts to deceive us with the lies of worldly wisdom through the unbelieving world around us. 3. He attempts to deceive us with a false Jesus and a false gospel through false Christians. 4. Satan can physically afflict us or ones that we love with illness, crimes, disasters, persecution and the like. Following bible verses and its mediation will help us to withstand evils temptation and evils fight against our spiritual life - James 4:7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. John 8:44You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your fathers desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. 1 John 3:8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Revelation 12:10And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Therefore take up the whole armor of God,that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Matthew 13:19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. Isaiah 14:12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! Genesis 3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Revelation 20:10 And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 14:30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Revelation 20:1-15 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.
