Today’s been great. I started my day off by joining the congregations at the New Life Church Ruringu and the GMS Church in Nyeri town, for thanksgiving and spiritual rejuvenation. One of the scriptures read today was Genesis Chapter 22 verses 10-12 in tandem with the theme about sacrifice to God. It is important that we periodically step back from our obsessions on what is wrong, to thank God for what is right…and to give back to Him in a manner that is sacrificial and pleasing to Him. In this spirit, I pray that our Muslim brethren find continued strength as they fast Ramadhan. All the best to them and to our hearts as we now gear up for the World Cup Pre-Match. This has been one fascinating World Cup!
