Today’s fishing was a huge improvement from the last few days. Capt. Jack did not fish today and the marina wasn’t really busy. Only 11 boats launched, but of those 11, 7 had really good numbers on Trout with a couple catching limits. The others had good numbers of Reds. The Trout were caught in Black Bay under the birds and around structures; Reds were caught in the interior marshes. The water is beautiful and the tides are improving every day, so the fishing should continue to improve too. We have plenty of live shrimp and would love to see you here at Sweetwater where customer service is our No. 1 priority. And remember, we are the second launch. Charters and lodging are available for still available for the summer. Call the lodge for reservations, 504-342-2368. Remember, 30% deposit is required upon booking. You will not be sorry. The faster you call the better. And just a reminder – we still have gift certificates available the fisherman or hunter in your life.
