Today’s inspiration for Caleen Sinnette Jennings’ NOT ENUF LIFETIMES, which opens at the Atlas Performing Arts Center on October 29: Chic, a landmark 70’s group led by Nile Rodgers. Caleen: “Good Times was a beloved party-starter when I was in my 20’s. I often play Rapper’s Delight for my students as a landmark song in hip hop and offer a dollar to anyone who can tell me where the beats behind it come from. You can’t hear those strings without feeling happy and upbeat.”
