~Today’s voters are the teachers for tomorrows voters~mw I am going to take a personal moment to talk about my thoughts about what we had to do. Yesterday, people heard short notice call for Bruce Grey Owen Sound to participate in a Leadnow Canada-wide campaign to protest changes to the Elections Act in Bruce Grey Owen Sound here in Ontario. I didnt contact Larry, but then I heard he was out of town again. I contacted friends of the Green Party, sent a message to Liberal candidate Kimberly Love and invited her to come and of course, Karen Gventer, Vice President of the NDP helped out and generously loaned her mic and amp. Id also like to acknowledge David McLaren whose been of great assistance. I had received an email asking me to start one here, but juggling time can be challenging. Thank you to Bob Hope for reminding about this Leadnow event. To all my friends and future friends, thank you for coming. Some of you traveled from outside of Owen Sound to get there. Thank to all who braved the heavy snow to make your voices heard. I am humbled and grateful. I know now that when we need to rise up with a unified voice - WE CAN DO IT.
