Todd & Jule at Kelly Lake. Todd is a friend of mine. I met him while commercial fishing in Kenai, Alaska in 2010, I think. We share many of the same interests and I introduced him to kayaking and camping in Alaska. One of the places I like, that I shared with Todd and his family, is Kelly Lake. I once spent one month here, from October 1st, to November 1st in 2006. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life, and helped shape the ideas I later put into practice of taking an old Subaru 4WD and turning it into an economy camper. It works great and is something I enjoy doing to this very day. Here, Todd & Jule enjoy the sunny days of June to go swimming and have a warm campfire. Fish were swimming around their ankles - salmon, I think, but they might have been Dolly Varden - that measured about 18 inches in length.
